Rhythm & Rhyme: Harlem Renaissance

  • West Hall 915 East Pine Street Seattle, WA, 98122 United States (map)

Rhythm & Rhyme is Noveltease Theatre’s cabaret series fusing poetry, burlesque, and live music. Each salon focuses on a different poetic movement, with a rotating cast of burlesque performers, bands, and featured poets to bring salacious sonnets, ribald rhymes, and comely cantos to life in an atmosphere of frivolity and intellectual curiosity.

This month we are paying tribute to the poetry of the Harlem Renaissance, backed by the sounds of Cafe Au Lait Ole and her band!
